I had a call from someone saying they was from O2/Sky

I have a call from this number ending in 6738 saying they where from O2/Sky that my number will be blocked due to some reason I did not catch and they wanted my info to be able to send out the new sims. Did not give any info over but just wanted to check if this is a thing or scam. I am leaning towards scam but thought I would ask on here just in case it was not.

It's definitely a scam. It's a ploy previously used to get sufficient information to be able to order expensive devices in your name.

A known scam intended to obtain account details so they can order expensive devices then claim a mistake was made & to return them to an address they provide or to say a courier will collect the devices.
They usually mention a new sim is required due to the upgrade to 5G but accounts already have this.

Absolutely a scam.

A genuine caller from Sky would not mention O2, or vice-versa.  O2 has no business calling Sky Mobile customers anyway: that's not how being a Mobile Virtual Network Operator works.
