Hi, I've just separated from my partner, my income as been drastically reduced, can I come out of contract for my viewing package until my income improves, thanks in advance

If it's a TV package then the contract explicitly states you cannot unless Sky agree to it.

If you are in a contract even if they were to let you cancel early the chances are an early termination fee would be charged which is would see you having to pay the remaining months off.

To add to the above you could remove any monthly rolling subs that you can do without. Just leave it as a basic Signature package for instance.
