Help with joining

Hello,

I am wanting to move to sky. I have given notice with my old provider so don't want to use the switch service as they want to change me and early exit fee.
how can a schedule my new sky tv and broadband to start the day my old one ends?

@Ssaaaaam

With broadband you can't which is why although you don't want to do it the switching service would be the way to go as they should only be a short period of downtime when changing between the two suppliers. For TV is you select something like Sky Stream you activate this yourself but would need a working broadband connection first. For Sky Q an engineer is required to install it so you would be at the mercury if whatever date you are given which is based the the availability of engineers in your area.

Re: Help with joining

So is the switch date the date you gave the engineer?

I noted the tv is sent next work day. So are you charged for the tv when you receive it and the broadband when installed?

so the switch date is when your broadband goes live?

thanks for the help

You would be given a switch date when using the switching service.

Once you have the Sky Glass: TV them

tou have 21 days to activate it before billing starts.
