HELP

How do I find out if a property I am moving into already has sky ??

I am a steward at a club and will be moving into the adjoining flat. There is a big debate between the committee on weather or not the flat already has sky but the old steward has removed all the equipment or it's never had sky installed.. 

Although the club itself has multiple sk boxes installed in the bar area

@Andyj2971  You would need to speak to Sky in any case to order Sky for the domestic property as it wouldn't be included with the Business account, presumably.

 

Even if there is a Sky account there it would be cancelled by the previous occupier so any new occupier needs to place an order for Sky domestic services.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Hi @Andyj2971   If you book a Home Move it doesn't matter, as Sky will move you to your new address by using the existing connection or installing a new one. Are there any complications, like a communial dish?

Also check with the property owner/ this committee whether a new dish (if required), and the subsequent drilling for cabling is allowed.

Sky can't (or at least shouldn't) tell you anything about that : a subscription is associated with an individual and so is effectively personal information.
