Getting money back

I changed a payment date for my direct debit and thought that it may not take out my direct debut so I paid a 200£ "deposit" thinking this would would come off my dd but unfortunately my dd came out as usual and I have 200 credit ... which doesnt need to be there ..... is there any way I can get this back to my?

As you've guessed you didn't need to make a manual payment. This credit should automatically be used to pay your next months bill so on that bill date no/less money should be taken from your account. I would suggest NOT making any manual payments unless requested to by Sky.

If you prefer, as your extra payment is showing as a credit, we can perhaps get you some help in getting it refunded (within the standard 3-5 WORKING days) through the Community Messaging Team on here. Let us know on this thread if you want to do that.

I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Community Messaging Team should make contact with you later.

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.

If you look at your next bill in "my Sky " The £200 should show as  credit as you change your payment date if did not make any adjustments in last bill you may find some extra credits or debits. In your next bill welldependingif you new payment date is earler or later in month to take account of period between your old payment date and your new date. This one off.
