Farudulent call

Hi 

I received a phone call from an 0204 number offering a 30% discount but then continue to ask for my sky app login details and password..  I said I weren't comfortable providing password so they sent and email for a passed reset and provided a temp password over the phone.. is this a scam ?

It is a scam so I take it you did not provide these details when they asked for them  over the phone or via the link in the email ?

Thank you @caesarome, I didn't commit to providing my password or renewing my password as requested so hopefully they couldn't progress further with the scam.. but thanks for confirming, I'll look to block the number..

They are probably spoofing the number that it comes from so should you receive anymore calls then just hang up without engaging them and mark as spam any emails they send you,
