False information for New subscription
I got a phone call to sign up to sky, the guy that I spoke to told me that sky sports was part of my package , but when I go on to it, it tells me that I do not subscribe to this . I asked him multiple times whilst I was on the phone, and he kept saying my subscription included the sports channels.
Thanks
Jen

@Jenbob68 Are you absolutely sure this call was from Sky? As there are a lot of scammers out there.
What did they offer in the way of discounts? Did they for example offer a massive 40% discount?
Have you received an email confirmation from Sky regarding your order/offer?

Yes it was definitely from sky because I had broadband installed at the same time. I've had it all fitted now, just not with the channels I was promised. That was one of the reasons I took them up on there offer.

Do your bills show a sports sub?

They also told me that I would have Netflix included, I've just found out its Netflix with Ads... never mentioned the Ads on the phone when they were selling it... Basically you don't get anything. For free , just a standard package.

Well, no: both Comcast and Netflix would prefer to be making money rather than losing it (and their stockholders/investors really rather expect that ; )
Netflix never was 'free' anyway: the (reduced) subscription cost for Standard with Adverts is factored into l the price of Ultimate TV and Essential TV.
As for your initial query, Sports is 'included' by paying a Sports subscription: it costs Sky literally billions of pounds a year to acquire the rights to such content so they aren't inclined to give it away.
