FTTC contract ends end of August.

My Sky FTTC contract will end at the end of August.
I currently been been paying £31 a month for up to 67mb speeds with wifi Boost.

My Sky FTTC with wifi boost is due to go up to £50.50 a month from 2nd September. I been offered £3 of that price a month.

Am I better phoning Sky to see if I can get a better deal. It also dont say  if I will also be sent the latest Sky Hub router. As the now I use the Sky Hub 4.2 black router. I also take it wifi max has replaced Sky wifi boost that I also currently have.

Only thing I have in the house that uses the new wfii 6 is my new MacBook Air that I got on a prime day deal two weeks ago.

@Ney02 it's always worth trying to negotiate a better discount with Sky, but recent posts here suggest that it will be in the order of a few pounds, rather than the significant discounts we've previously enjoyed. A deal will be subject to a 24 months' minimum term. You'll

get a better discount as a new customer by switching to a new provider.

Sky don't automatically send you a new router on renewal. The latest router comes with a WiFi Max subscription costing £3 per month.
