Why do Sky have no Email contact to speak to anyone in customer services ? We are new Broadband /Talk customers and have had a few teething problems so called the customer service telephone number which for most companies would be a free service, only to find that to call Sky for "help" with problems with their service cost us over £30 in charges from their own Talk service and since then I have made similar calls from my mobile phone to also got extra charges of nearly £25 so now I still need to speak with Sky but calling is not an option but there seems no other way of contacting them. The virtual helpline is a complete waste of time .

@Jc2515 calls to sky cost standard rates unless you are calling a premium number found of a Google search rather than numbers on skys own website
Click on the need more help drop down at the very bottom of the link below to reveal an 0333 number if your in uk
If in ROI using the same link change the flag in bottom right hand corner and refresh the link before following above instructions to reveal an 0818 number
https://www.sky.com/help/home#M1014
or if you have sky mobile/talk call 150

Re: Excessive call charges to customer service
Calls to Sky Customer Services from your Sky Talk landline phone or a Sky mobile are free. If you're saying you were charged and the landline had definitely been switched to Sky you will need to contact Sky to challenge it.
Sky do not use email for general communication or fault reporting.

Re: Excessive call charges to customer service
@Jc2515 as noted already, calls to Sky using authorised customer services numbers are free from a Sky landline and from a Sky mobile.
Charges from a non-Sky landline or mobile are dependent on the provider, but Sky's Uk landline numbers are standard 03xx numbers, often included in call packages.
Calls to a number found via a Google search may or may not be authorised numbers and could be premium rate calls.

Re: Excessive call charges to customer service
I've just been charged £41.60 for a Service charge. I nearly had a heart attack. Was going to report as scam. After more than 20 years paying sky to watch very few channels, I give up. It's not as though they are on the bread line. This month it has nearly cost me £200 in fees and they have the nerve to charge a service fee for their poor service. I'm done. They will be getting a call from me tomorrow cancelling sky. There are more companies offering services these days. Sky will price themselves out of the market.

Certain numbers do incur charges as per the tariff.

Where did you get the number to call from?
