Does a house move trigger a new contract?
Good morning,
My current 18 month contract with Sky is due to expire in August 2025. I am currently moving house and this will likely complete in the next 4-6 weeks. When I move house does my contract automatically get reset for anouther 18 months so it will then expire sometime around September 2026? I last moved house in 2021 and think I remember something like this.
Thanks for any help or answers.
Jamie

Re: Does a house move trigger a new contract?
We have been told by Sky staff that moving home will not impact your TV contract, it will continue as normal.
If you have phone and broadband however, this will be a new contract as Sky have to cancel the line at the current address and take a new one in the new address.
Note that new discounted deals are now 24 months not 18.
