Do sky help customers resolve situations

I'm having trouble paying my sky bill as its over £300. I've been trying to speak with an advisor for days now and got nowhere with that. I want to make a payment but cannot afford it all in 1 go. since gas & electric as gone to nearly £230 a month and Christmas i barely get by with my 2 children any spare money goes on them. I've saved around £100 pound to pay them, but all I get is pay in full from the numbers I've phoned all automated too. not one advisor or person to speak to directly. Does anyone have any advice or been in this position themselves and how did u get it resolved.  can i have my broadband back on at least don't mind goin without my sky channels till I've payed my bill. I also have line rental with them and have done for years.  I would like to think afte  being a customer with them for a long time they would want to help me to get this matter resolved.

@Zoe+david  Unfortunately no service will be restored until the full outstanding payment is made and a new continuous payment method is setup I'm afraid

this is sky's standard policy for all customers regardless of situation they are in

you could try calling from a number not linked to your account or by putting 141 before sky's number but even if you get through that way they may still not be able to help you until the payment is paid in full

@Zoe+david
Before Sky reinstate your services you will have to pay what you owe and also set up a new continuous payment method. If your payment is two or more weeks overdue you will also have to pay the next bill as well. If you allow your arrears to remain for 56 days Sky may terminate your account.

[Depending on your previous payment history you may be able to pay all but £25 which will then be added to your next bill, although this does NOT apply for a Sky Mobile restriction].

If you can’t pay it all in one go you can pay what you want, when you want, but until the bill is paid off in full Sky will not reinstate your services. Sky don't allow payment plans on overdue live accounts, nor will they consider promises to pay.

Once your payment has cleared and is in Sky’s account your services should be reinstated, but be aware this may not be instant especially at a weekend as the banks are closed.

Any attempt to call Sky will result in you being prompted to pay first.
