Disney +

So I pay a once a year payment for my Disney + account which saves 2 months worth a year. With the new option included by default can I get a refund from Disney or sky? As I renew every August so have 5 months still paid for.

Hi @Paeddd   The remainder of your annual payment should be refunded. No announcement yet, I since we paid Disney+ direct, I can only guess that they should issue the refund. Let's face it, we didn't pay Sky, so expecting them to pay us is a stretch. But we simply don't know, all of us will have to wait and see.

I'm pretty certain that the email said Disney will refund annuals as Sky don't have access to those accounts.

Re: Disney +

Thanks I pay for the ad free version so I'm assuming I'll pay a few pounds extra to sky for that option as the free add on includes ads.

Re: Disney +

@MightyQuinn  @Me134

Just live chatted with Disney+ and they said once I activate my Disney through Sky they'll refund any owing months I've just looked the Sky options and for ad free (which is what use) Sky want £9.99 pm extra. If I pay my annual one off at £89.90 it works out at £7.50pm so I think I'll stick with paying Disney + once a year. 😊

Hi @Paeddd   The deal has not kicked in yet, once it has (sometime this month) the price to upgrade from with Ads (included) to Standard is just £4 a month. So we will be paying £4 instead of £7.50 a month (almost half price). I am the same as you, I paid Disney+ £89.90 and mine is due in June.

@MightyQuinn

Thank you for the update, I'll keep an eye on when it goes live. I know I can use the Disney app through Sky already but usually forget and use a separate app on my smart tv or iPad. 😊

Re: Disney +

@MightyQuinn  Just signed up to the Sky deal @£4 pm so saves me £42 per year. Disney+ say I'll be automatically refunded on my remaining annual subscription payment so I'll be keeping an eye on my bank account to make sure. 😊

Hi @Paeddd   Where did you see that? Mine simply says "paused" and Sky are investigating.

Re: Disney +

@MightyQuinn @I did a live chat with Disney+ earlier today and they said once I'd transferred to Sky, my refund would be automatically sent to my bank. I will however give them 14 days before I chat again if I haven't got it by then. 😊

I'm not due one having moved from Ad free monthly but glad they've sorted yours and others pretty rapid.
