I can see my direct debit set up on my sky app but not on my banking app. For the last 2 months sky haven't taken the direct debit and Im having to make manual payments. Can some one from sky respond please so I can get this sorted.

Yes the bank haven't received the direct debit from sky. The direct debit was set up 2 months ago 🙈

Find out moreTo get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.

When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

can someone from sky please respond again as I am still having issues with the direct debit not being claimed. This is the 3 rd time now and I am rather fed up. Think it's time to put in a complaint !

Hi That the direct debit was set up and they would try again 11 days later. Direct debit did not go out so had to pay manually. Spoke to the bank and they confirmed that the dd was not set up ! Test sky are ademsnt that it is

I have. They have said they can not see a dd for sky and it's an issue at skys end. Sky need to cancel the dd so it can be set up again.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI agree - your bank can only set up a direct debit if they've received the instructions from the Originator (Sky in this case), which appear to have gone missing in transit for some reason. Starting again would seem to be the solution.
