@rjs3
I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Messaging Team should contact you later.

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.

Re: Credit refund

Hi,

Im having the same issue and have been told 3 different things since 31st July from Sky phone advisors.

My refund is TV/Broadband credit on the account which is now a closed account. What is the best way to go about getting support with this? It shows as a credit on my account.

thanks

@LiamL91

We could usually help you via here by escalating your post to Sky about this but for the next week or so this is not available so you will have to contact them yourself so under “Need more help” if it is available should be the number to use:

https://www.sky.com/help

You can also contact Sky via social media:

Re: Credit refund

I've sent a message through the Facebook Messenger. Hopefully that gets me somewhere.

I've already had 4 phone calls since 31st July and have been told 4 different stories. So I'm not confident in the phone line operatives. Hopefully the social media route is better.

thanks for your help

@Pinkney91

We used to escalate this to Sky on here via their Community Messaging Team but unfortunateky that process is currently unavallable and we don't know when it'll return.

If you don't want to wait you will need to contact Sky and speak to an agent by other means; either by calling, or initially through Sky Assistant or via social media, Providing your payment method is still active they should then be able to refund it in 3-5 WORKING days.

Re: Credit refund

Hi, I am also waiting for a credit refund after cancelling sky broadband. My credit card details are about to be changed so I'd prefer a sooner refund please.

@Ian11111
Refunds after cancelling should take about 6 weeks from your last day of connection however posts here do suggest it’s taking longer.

We can potentially help get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Community Messaging Team on here if you wish. Let us know on this thread if you want to do that.

Note: [The same applies if you’ve moved address since cancelling and you’ve had an email from Sky about posting a cheque to you. They can either reinstate your payment method to refund you in 3-5 working days or arrange a back office team to send out a cheque to your new address which will take much longer].

Before we can escalate it to Sky please confirm in your reply that…it’s still currently showing as a credit on your Sky account, if the payment method is still active and if the payment method has been cancelled whether you’ve moved address since leaving.
