Credit refund

Hi, finally had my credit show up for sky glass today refund of credit of £163 - just wondering if that goes automatically to my bank or do I have to request it to be paid into my bank? 

any help would be appreciated

Typically if you have another Sky television product or Sky Broadband (but not Sky Mobile) then a refund is applied as a credit to that account.

It's still showing that my bill is being paid by direct debit but my glass account is a total different account number and direct debit is separate for tv payment and q account 2 seperate  dates each month

To be clear @Sim83 , you cancelled Sky Glass and have returned it ?

Yes all cancelled returned and passed all checks I do have sky q and a none sky glass tv

To get you some help with the refund I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:

My closed account now shows a massive credit and further bills now are all showing £0.00 to pay / when will it be refunded to me? In chat other day I was told 5 days ... still waiting? Any ideas?

Thanks - nothing as of yet all I'm seeing is -£146 estimated at present - the last refund actually said it had been issued so wasn't sure if it works the same

8/10/2023 I login to my sky mobile account to pay mobile bills with my debit card money went to sky broadband by mistake I didn't know until 1 hours so I call customer service the told me you will get refund in 3 day it's closed to two weeks no refund £113

You might want to call to establish what has happened.

Tried to call can't even get to the right department - can someone create a chat bubble please / it's the only way I seem to get any sense out of sky these days
