If there is no credit now showing on your Sky account you'll need to call Sky.

Re: Credit refund

Hi Daniel,

Yes when looking at my latest bill. It took a payment and says the account balance is 0.

The fact they took a payment 4 weeks after I told them I was switching is ridiculous.

Billing continues through a notice period. Bills for Sky+, Sky Q and Broadband /Talk are generated 14 days prior to a payment date. For Mobile, Glass and Stream it's 3 days before the payment date.

It's therefore quite normal that another bill payment will be required. Of course any overpayment will be reimbursed to you.

Re: Credit refund

Do you know the best number to use to

contact sky? To avoid as much time going through different departments

Call Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or your Sky Talk landline if you have Sky Broadband. The forum doesn't allow the display of other numbers but official numbers to Sky from the UK are 03 numbers which are usually inclusive from non Sky phones.

All calls will start automated (aka 'the bot') which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and sometimes saying nothing when asked the reason for the call helps being put in the queue for the next available agent.

Re: Credit refund

Hi! I am having the same issue. Contacted SKY to request the refund on multiple occasions and they have yet to produce the money, despite the cancellation of broadband and tv services in April/May. I have not altered the DD so should still be 'active'

Re: Credit refund

Yes..its showing on my June bill that there is credit on the account. What has annoyed me the most is the DD was still taken on the 28th May, despite the services both being cancelled by 18th May (tv was cancelled in April).

Re: Credit refund

The notice for broadband cancellation actually went through in April and SKY acknowledged the swap, so SKY had plenty of time to stop the DD.

@Bishnudhakal

Your post isn't very clear. Are you saying you are trying to get a credit refund after leaving Sky?

Again this isn't very clear, if you are still a Sky customer then the credit will be used to pay a bill so where does your address come into it ?
