This problem stems from having an existing sky account and then taking on my mother's account after her death. I was unable to use my email address to service both accounts and so I've never been able to access the account that was originally hers.
Can you not provide a different email address to access the account, if you don't have another one then you could set one up at somewhere like Gmail (Google) or Outlook.com (Microsoft) and use that ?
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can

Hi @stretch1972
An invite was sent but there was no response within 48 hours so it has automatically closed.
If you still need help with this please let us know by posting on the forum again and we will get it escalated through to us.

Re: Credit refund
@caesarome - I've tried to register a different email on several occasions but it won't let me do it.

Re: Credit refund
Have finally managed to get the My Sky switched to an alternative account and it shows a pending credit still sitting in the account.
If Sky is able to take money out of my bank account to pay for monthly services, why when the service is cancelled can the credit balance not be transferred back into the same bank account?

Re: Credit refund
Hi. I have the same problem with my money back. They should be pay back 3 days ago. I'll change my broadband provider more then month ago. I don't understand why Sky charge me for another month when they know I'm changeing for new company on the day when my contract is fnish. That's illegal and now I'm waiting for my money what they have illegal from my account. What I should do? apart give them bad review everywhere for that.

Re: Credit refund
Nothing untoward about this. Bills are generated 14 days before your payment date so was generated whilst you were still a customer.
So, as previously asked, do you want your issue escalated to the Messaging Team on here?

Re: Credit refund
I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Messaging Team should contact you later.
You need to watch out for a post from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread fairly regularly.
This link explains what happens.

Re: Credit refund
They still charge me even when they shouldn't. They want me to keep ddebit for the last bill if something needs to be pay and then charge me all prepayment for another month. For what reason? Now I need to looking for help to get my own money back and that should be done straight by Sky without any question from my side.

Re: Credit refund
@ack2605 To get you some help, I’ve escalated your post to sky community chat who hopefully will be in contact and send you a private community message/email so I would recommend that if not already on, you turn email/private message notifications on to avoid missing any alerts
So look out for a chat bubble across the bottom of the screen when logged onto the forum
This link explains how this works
https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147#M1014
Be reassured the email & message is from Sky and your details are safe and secure.
Once you receive an invite you’ll have 48 hours to initiate a chat before it automatically times out, also ensure you login to the forum periodically for 48 hours after receiving the invite and check the chat bubble for any responses from sky and make sure you respond to each message from sky within 48 hours of each message, or the chat will time out again
NB 1 If your post has been escalated for a non return fee issue please note proof of postage is required without it refunds are at sky’s discretion
NB 2 If you are using Safari please make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the chat bubble. If you are having trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Chrome
