Credit Refund

I left sky at the end of may, and posted the main and mini box back to you straight away.

I then noticed I have some money as a credit on my account, and want to know when I can expect to see this in my bank and not Sky's.

Having read other conversations it states it can be upto 6 weeks from cancellation and the payment method still valid.

It is now nearly 8 weeks and I wont to know when I will receive what I am owed.

@Carl.......
You aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services here. This is a customer led discussion forum where Sky customers are available to try to help other customers.

Refunds are apparently taking longer than the usual 6 weeks from your last day of connection.

We can help get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Messaging Team on here if you wish. Let us know on this thread if you want to do that.

@Carl.......
I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Messaging Team should contact you tomorrow.

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.

This link explains what happens.

Re: Credit Refund

I have the same issue. I cancelled my broadband but still have sky stream and yet the credit hasn't been applied to that. Very frustrating

Re: Credit Refund

Thank you for your response. But I shouldn't have to spend extra time contacting Sky to rectify this, it should be an automated process. Really poor customer service, it's as if they want to hold onto customers money. I nearly cancelled my DD for broadband at the time and wish I had in hindsight
