OK thanks, I was just informed of this when I phoned them up. It seems an awful lot to go up by £30. I only have sky sports and a sky q box and it will be £86 a month. I have been with sky for over 20 years, maybe time to leave 🙄

t will be because the discount you have is ending around that time. So sometime in July give Sky a call to see if they will offer you another discount if you will agree to a new 18 month contract.

@Wendy241

It's too early to call. You need to do it about a month before the discount ends.

That is because your currennt discount doesn't finish until August.

There is a price coming on 1st April of which you should have received an email or letter about which might be why you are seeing this incease.

Sky will have told you the date the discount was ending when you took it out. You will need to contact Sky in July to try to negotiate a new deal which will require another 18 month minimum term contract. Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount so if you’re offered something acceptable you need to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available when you call back.

You can either call Sky or use the following link

@Wendy241 You would have been told about when your discount expires in August when you signed up you don't currently get reminders about that increase

You will not as you were told how long your discount was when it was first applied to your account so it is up to you to make a note of this somewhere.

The price goes back up to full price when your minimum discount term ends. If that's £30 then you have been getting a £30 per month discount for 18 months, which doesn't sound too bad to me.

@Wendy241  for the basic Sky package (Sky Signature) + Sky Sports the list price without discount should be around £64 so your figure of £86 seems excessively high (unless you have some other add ons such as Sky HD or Ultimate TV).

You'll be able to check this by looking at your future bills in Mysky online.
