Confused About Renewal Price and Future Bills

Hi - When I agreed to my renewal offer for the Sky Signature yesterday all I saw was £27.50 & not a breakdown so don't understand what the 4 day discount means. I assume it's because my previous contract would run out on the 14th March, which makes it 4 days but how is that and the £4 deduction relevant to my future 2 year contract? This was the same price as previous contract, but I knew there would be a £4 increase so expected my future bills to be £31.50 but screenshot for my March bill show £35.50 so the £5 deduction isn't shown.  The April bill shows £35.50 for the Signature.

It's probably to do with being billed in advance but shouldn't my future bills be £27.50 what I agreed to and the £4 increase (before my renewal I received the email saying Sky Signature would increase by £4) - total £31.50.

What am I missing?  I thought renewing online would save me a lot of hassle of trying to get a new deal on the phone which I find very stressful, but I've spent all morning trying to work this and the Netflix ad on confusion (posted about separately) out.

APRIL BILL (14/4-13/5) and future bills - Why £35.50?

So  £4 difference as thought it would be £31.50 taking into account the price increase.

Thankyou for any insight - my head is spinning.

The list price of Signature from April is £40.50.  So with a £5 discount the £35.50 is correct?

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Re: Confused About Renewal Price and Future Bills

Thank you. I wanted to edit that particular sentence you picked up but not allowed to edit.  I wanted to know why it wasn't shown but my overall query was why it's £35.50 when I agreed to £27.50, taking into account there would be a £4 increase only.
