Complaint - account suspended - I’ve been scammed!

I had sky for 18 months and hated every minute of the service, couldn't wait to get out of the contract. I was sold a package that wasn't suitable and was locked in. Three months ago an agent contacted me and asked if I would go back to sky, to which I said I wouldn't. He offered me the very basic package free of charge for a year, free installation and free service for a year if I paid £15.00 per month the following year. I went through the deal multiple times as I thought it was weird. I agreed to the deal. I have now had my account suspended, which quite frankly I'm not bothered about as we still hardly use it. But, they have said I owe them money, which I don't. This will obviously create a mark against my credit rating. I can't get hold of anyone unless I make a payment!! What what a scam. No numbers work it's just pre recorded nonsense. Where do I go from here?

I'd agree that's an extremely unlikely-sounding product, which I don't think has ever been brought up in these forums before.

It was a cold call from Sky, and in part of the conversation I said "you couldn't pay me to come back to sky, I wouldn't have it if it was free" - that's when the offer was made. He took no direct debit details from me at the time. I went over the deal several times and then took it as a done deal. 

I've heard nothing since it got installed until three days ago saying I hadn't been paying my bills and owed money! It's only about £30.00 but I didn't agree to paying for anything.

 

The call will of been recorded, so it's all on record.
