Error Ineligible Message with URL redirect

I just cannot do anything with my VIP account. I am looking to both upgrade my phone and change to Sky Broadband but I consistently get redirected to this page:

https://www.sky.com/error/ineligible

I have had no sensible answers from technical support.

I have tried on my phone, laptop, pc, using a variety of browsers with cleared caches and nothing works.

Has anyone else had an "Ineligible" error message?

If so, how was it resolved?

Have you ever left Sky in the past and returned because if so are you signed into the correct account ?

I have only ever had one account, 23 years plus as a Sky VIP. I have had disputes which should have all been resolved. My gut feeling is that there is a block on my account status somewhere disabling the features I am interested in. I have had multiple chats and phone calls with all manner of staff who just go around in circles doing nothing. That's why I thought I'd ask the community. Maybe someone else is enduring my awful experience?

@philbranigan account permissions is something only Sky can help with. You could try to escalate this by registering a complaint see How to make a Sky complaint | Sky Help | Sky.com

 

In tge end you cannot force Sky to honour offers but it is a little strange.
