Charged after cancellation
Hello,
I was notified on 3rd August that my Internet contract was ending soon (today, 12th September) and that I needed to either do somthing or it would move to a rolling contract at double the price.
I decided to leave sky for another provider and did so in good time, however today I have been charged today the full £49.
I need this refunded.
Thanks

Re: Charged after cancellation
Billing continues through a notice period. Bills for Sky+, Sky Q and Broadband /Talk are generated 14 days prior to a payment date so when you were still a customer.
It's therefore quite normal that another bill payment will be required. Of course any overpayment will be reimbursed to you. This can take up to 6 weeks from your last day of connection.
