Changing payment method

Have been trying to change the payment method for Sky streaming account from card to direct debit, both on the app and on the website but keep getting message that the details don't match. Have tried to find out via the website why I can't make the change but with no success

Is it after entering the direct debit details that you see this message ?

Hi @hannah99regent   I am only guessing, but it is at least 14 days before your payment date?

Have already made first payment plus two overpayments.
