I recently moved home and the engineer offered a 4 week free Sky Cinema package which he said would automatically cancel unless I chose to renew. I was sceptical but foolishly agreed. True to form, I received an email today stating that I must opt out. Ok, so I clicked on the link and signed into my account, to no surprise whatsoever I get a message saying I cannot cancel online at present but should rather call Sky. I am currently working overseas and do not want to incur the international phone charges whilst listening to musak for hours.
I tried the chat function but its a bot with no access to a human. The human messaging service is of course mysteriously not available. Time is running out or I will end up paying another 7 quid a month for a service I never use anyway as the movies are older than Methuselah in most cases.
No email address can be found, contact us takes me back on the above merry go round and complaints links me to an industry body or ombudsman.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYou will need to give 31 days notice to cancel. Sky don't use email for general communication but you could try the social media platforms that are available at the bottom of the forum pages.
