Just for the record sky finally agreed they messed up and cancelled my contract again!--- this was supposed to be yesturday and guess what? Its still not cancelled today and they took another months bill. This has to be illegal! Everone told me to cancel the direct debit but you assume a certain level of compitance for a large corperation.

It's not unusual for automated systems to perform 'unexpected' actions. Also bear in mind that payments are requested several days prior and cannot be stopped. (If DD then your bank can possibly intervene)
But they should return every penny owed but you may have to persevere in chasing for it.

I'm trying to cancel my SKY contract after being a customer for 7 years and I can't find any link or phone number where I can actually give them the notice. They are explaing the process without providing the tools to actually follow the process.
I'm totally with Danny. Sky is breaking the law by ont proving the informations of how to contact them for presenting the notice and have a clear agreement (signed/accepted) by both parties.
I want to cancel my Sky contract as I'm not using it. Happy to pay any fees for cancellation (it should be no fee as I have't had any service fro them added to my contracy since I've signed up 7 years ago.
Can someone post here the link to the form to send the cancelation notice or a phone number?
Many thanks
Gabriela

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out morePresume you mean TV. The latest T’s and C’s for TV subscriptions explicitly state you can't cancel your TV subscription during a minimum discounted term unless Sky agree to it. If they allow you to leave you’ll basically have to pay off the rest of your discounted term. If/When you are out of contract you need to contact Sky to reduce any part of your package or cancel it completely giving the required notice of 31 days.
Select ‘Need more help’ at the bottom of the following link which will lead to a phone number.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv#contact-leave
(Make sure the flag in the bottom right corner is the correct one ie; UK or ROI).
UK customer ~ The link should include an email link and also a Message Us option (which is normally available between 9am and 7.30pm).
ROI customer ~ it’s only by ringing or writing in.
If you cancel correctly you should receive a confirmation email from Sky.
If you’re cancelling Sky Q totally don’t forget it’s very important that you keep you proof of posting indefinitely when you return the box(es) as Unipart are not quick at telling Sky you have sent equipment back.

The terms and conditions have both the phone number and email address to initiate a cancellation. (There's an additional step to validate identity)
Contracts for such consumer services are not signed nowadays - they wouldn't be providing services unless the terms were accepted.

Hi The Superuser
It will actually be very nice to know to whom I'm talking rather than post same 'standard answer' no matter what the problem is.
After 7 years I HAVE THE RIGHT as per Terms and Conditions to cancel /terminate my contract.
If you don't have the link to the form to send the notification, the telefon number or the email address, please DO NOT make the effort to reply as it's not helpful.
Regards

@Gabrielak The forum does not allow the physical posting of phone numbers or email addresses for security reasons hence why the links have been provided which contain the information you require in order to contact sky and cancel

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreEmailing is a slow way to go about cancelling but you should get a reply sometime which will see your required notice (31 days for TV) will start from when you sent it. It would have been quicker to call or if it was available use the online messaging service.
