Cancelled tv

I cancelled my sky tv and broadband in February. Stopped using all services in April and sent the boxes etc back. They're saying I still owe money, even after they credited me money.

i want to speak to someone on the phone but I cannot get through to a person unless I pay and I'm not prepared to do that until I discuss it first. 
I did speak to a person last month who reassured me she would get it all cancelled and that I wouldn't owe money.

what can I do?

Unfortunately you will need to pay what Sky believe you owe before you can talk to sky otherwise the call will only prompt you to pay. You'll have to allow sufficient time for the payment to reach Skys account and then set up a new payment method.,
