We're customers here, not Sky customer services.
Your bill for September/Octoer will have been produced (2 weeks before payment date) while you were still a Sky customer. Sky will expect the bill to be paid. They will, of course, refund any amount overcharged from the day your service with Sky ended.
Once the overpayment appears as a credit on your Sky account you can request a manual refund. Or wait for the automatic refund which takes around 6 weeks.

l’m afraid you aren’t speaking to Sky Customer Services by posting here. This is a customer ➡️ customer discussion forum where we try to help other Sky customers.
Bills are generated 14 days before the payment date so that bill was produced whilst you were still a customer.
Refunds normally take about six weeks from the last day of connection but posts on here suggest it's taking longer.
We could normally escalate this to Sky on here via their Messaging Team but unfortunately the process is currently switched off and we don't know when it'll return.
At present you will need to contact Sky and speak to an agent by other means; through social media, Sky Assistant or by calling in perhaps. Providing your payment method is still active they should be able to refund it in 3-5 WORKING days.

I'm afraid that you are not addressing Sky here. Please see Welcome below for information about this community.
However, bills are generated at least 14 days before the payment date. As your service was still active until the 1st of September, this will probably be the reason why it was processed.
Once you see a credit on your account (therefore you will know the amount), I would get in touch with Sky to ask for a refund. It is supposed to be automatically refunded after 6 weeks, but it may take longer, so requesting a refund would be quicker.

What you posted was incorrect I'm afraid. From the dates provided by @MsTee77 the bill was generated correctly 14 days before the payment date (so around 22 August). At that point the OP was still a paying customer and this is quite normal. Any overpayment will be reimbursed as already stated.
