@Sarah236
If you’re moving to another ISP you could use the One Touch Switching system which is explained in this link ~ NOTE: it only applies to broadband and Talk and not a TV subscription
https://www.uswitch.com/broadband/guides/one-touch-switch/

If you are cancelling Broadband/Talk altogether you need to contact Sky and give the required notice of 14 days. Remember that if you are still in a discounted 18/24 months deal Sky could impose cancellation charges.

Return packaging for any equipment Sky expect back will be sent out to you near the end of any notice period. Remember to keep any proof of posting indefinitely.

@Sarah236  Are you moving toanother provider, if so you don;t need to cancel with Sky as most providers use the One Touch Switching service and will infiorm Sky that they are taking over your broadband service.

Cancelling and switching at the same time will lead to problems

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

...if you want continuity then OTS is the way to go.

If you're giving up broadband entirely then that's another matter.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
