Cancel package
Hello, I need to cancel my Sky Stream service immediately due to severe financial hardship. My contract is up on 01/09/2026, but my household circumstances have just changed catastrophically because my Universal Credit is dropping to zero next week.
My personal rent and house bills are now over £1,700 a month, which is more than my entire monthly income. I am currently in a financial crisis and cannot afford to pay my basic household bills, let alone a subscription service or an early termination fee.
Under Sky's financial hardship policy, please can you escalate this to your specialist team to waive my early exit fees completely and process the 31-day cancellation notice today?"

Re: Cancel package
I'm not sure if the policy covers early termination charges.
...but you'll have to call Sky as we're other customers here so cannot directly help.

I think the hardship policy only covers broadband actuly not tv but you will have phone and speaker to Sky and see what can be done. However as we are in mid June if they did impose a termination fee it will only be for just over a extra month any way as if you minimum term end in September you would be able give you 31 days notice on 1st August without a termination fee. May be under your circumstances if you explained to Sky your situation, as it only a month they waver the termination in your case hopefully.
