This is becomming the norm for most companies. Customer services are being replaced by AI/off shore hybrid models as it's cheap.
There are not that many companies that offer only UK based human call centres.

One of the few companies that doesn't have any offshore call centres (EE) recently topped Ofcom's complaint report for broadband and Pay TV. Sky is still performing well in spite of the complaints about customer service on this forum.

Completely agree with you, spend so much time reiterating questions etc because they can't understand, its truly ridiculous. To have a call sent to South Africa, Kenya, Bulgaria just because they can't grasp is disgusting. Been with sky over 24 years but this is making me leave

Ive been with them 30 years.
Im moving next month and definitely not taking Sky with me.
Should be fun cancelling it.
