Changed all my services to VOIP over superfast Virgin Media, which is going to give me 362mbps for £29.99 a month.
For the initial 18 month contract period.
After that the normal list price is more like £80

There is no point in complaining, they honestly do not care. No point in going to the ombudsman because they appear to never do anything and seem to pretty much side with the company the complaint is against.
They will get their comeuppance one day.
Changed all my services to VOIP over superfast Virgin Media, which is going to give me 362mbps for £29.99 a month. So tata Dino Sky. No more of their throttling the network, no more horrific customer service, no more ignorance and arrogance, and most importantly, YOU SKY, no longer get a single penny from me.
Result. The way to beat the horrific Sky company in general, is to simply change provider and run your home line over VOIP.
Good luck.
I'm on Virgin Media broadband (and Sky for TV) but believe me Virgin's customer service is the worst you will ever encounter. I dread having to contact them.
They are frequently in the news because it's so bad, here's one from just yesterday: https://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.php/2024/07/which-shames-broadband-isp-virgin-media-uk-for-poor-cu...
Earlier this year Sky was actually the least complained about provider, Virgin was the most complained about: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-68093374
Every time there's a story like this Virgin Media say they are working to improve customer service, but it never gets any better.
