Broadband

I have recently fixed into a 18month contract for my broadband at £28.00 but from the app and future payments, as of April it will go up to £32.00.

can I ask is this is correct and why there is an increase already when I signed a fixed contract for 18months at £28.00

@Elisha0907 yes it is correct Sky have it wriitten in the terms & conditions that they can increase the price, the contract you entered into was not a fixed price contract

You should receive an official e-mail/letter regarding the increase and the letter should inform if you can leave Sky penalty free if you wish to

I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

Re: Broadband

How can they approach you with a £28 deal for 18months to then leave BT as sky promised (they could beat the deal) to then 2 months later up the price to £32.00 a month ?

Re: Broadband

@Elisha0907 I will be same as you as I moving from BT 65mb speeds to Sky Superfast 59mb speeds but have taken the added Sky Broadband Boost so will be paying £31 a month and activation date is this Monday coming 6th March. So I guessing my monthly payments may also go up come sometime in April.

So after price rises it will only work out £1 or £2 cheaper being with Sky if I had stayed with B.T. This is aso taking in to account the BT price rises.

Only other difference is Sky is an 18 month contract. Where as BT is 24 month contract.
