If Admin fees weren't mentioned by staff then contact Sky again, give them the date and time of the call and they should be able to listen back on what was mentioned and agreed.

Sky contracts are not fixed price.  They can (and do) increase.

£40 admin charges do seem rather excessive though.  (They are apparently £10 per 'deal', i.e. sub)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

@1954eamonn

Call Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or your Sky Talk landline if you have Sky Broadband. The forum doesn't allow the display of other numbers but official numbers to Sky from the UK are 03 numbers which are usually inclusive from non Sky phones.

All calls will start automated (aka 'the bot') which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and sometimes saying nothing when asked the reason for the call helps being put in the queue for an agent.

Your call automatically gets passed to the next available agent - wherever they are based.

@caesarome

I presumed it was the Admin Fees issue posted a couple of days ago

@1954eamonn

Is that correct?

Have you tried the chat option rather than a phone call, language difficulties don't tend to be as obstructive in my experience.
