Billing

I am getting charged for my TV when I told them about a month ago that the cables to the dish had been cut by builders but they ain't fixed it yet and I am still getting charged for it

That's correct @Toady7648 Billing continues as normal. Hopefully your builders are compensating you for loss of service. Hopefully the engineer visit is coming soon.

Sky will only compensate for loss of service if it's their fault.

 

Otherwise, people would just disconnect their Sky box from the cables and claim something happened and therefore gain a payment holiday from Sky.

 

You'll need to argue this one with the builders and claim appropriate compensation for loss of service and any other damage they might have done.

You could also go to argos or any other store  like b&q or electrical  suppliers  and get a satellite  cable  and unscrew  the damaged  one and replace it  yourself so you  can get your  service  back
