Billing

Since I have been with you there has never been so many concerns and issues with billing. The bill seems to always be higher than normal. I want to put a complaint in and want someone to explain why my bill is higher than normal

Unless you’ve recently changed your subscription, prices go up for either the annual price increase (April in the UK) or when your discounts have ended (or a combination of the two).

Sky will have told you the date any discount was ending when you took it out so if it has ended you’ll be paying the full undiscounted price.

Perhaps compare a previous bill to your latest bill and see where the amounts differ
www.sky.com/bill.

If you’re no longer in a discounted minimum term, or its ending soon the best new discounts are normally acquired by calling Sky and negotiating or potentially amending your package which will now require a 24 month minimum term contract. Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount, and recent posts on here indicate that significant discounts are now harder to come by. If you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available when you call back.

Re: Billing

They do not go up £40 a month.

@Carlarolt

It could if it's the annual price increase and a discount ending. We can't see your bills. As previously suggested perhaps compare a previous bill to your latest bill and see where the amounts differ
www.sky.com/bill.

Re: Billing

Have you got a contact number to speak to someone I have rung two numbers and cannot get through.

i have checked my bill and it states the same as others with no other increase

i have had the contract since October so it's not the discount

snd if it has gone up annual £40 then staff need to discuss this on purpose as that is ridiculous

To call Sky dial 150 (free) from either a Sky Talk landline or a Sky mobile. Alternatively use this link…
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ leading to a number starting 0333.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ to see a dedicated ROI number. (Customer Services in the ROI are not open at weekends).

The forum filters don’t allow the posting of full phone numbers on here.

Calls to Sky will initially be automated which may try to send you here to the forum, offer you online help or offer to send you a text. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.
