Billed twice

My bill is showing twice the amount it normally is.   The products listed are listed twice and the amount has doubled for no reason.   Same billing period and the direct debit has left.    Why am I being charged twice for the same period and same service !?  I only have 1 Sky account

@Donnabee81

Are you a new Sky customer? The first couple of bills are generally higher due to the dates they cover. Check future bills to see if that is the amount you're expecting.

Re: Billed twice

Nope.   New a customer for 3 years now.   Nothings changed, no new subscriptions, no new devices, nothing:   But I've been billed double.   My bill shows the same period twice and the same amount twice

@Donnabee81

Can you post an image of this bill and if you do make sure your name and account and credit agreement numbers are blanked out.

If you haven't changed your payment date (Which can trigger this) then you'll probably need to call Sky.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Can you expand those two so we can see more details as it isn't clear what is happening from those images.

You haven't made any changes to your package recently have you ?

Hi @Donnabee81   If you notice, the £34.10 line has -31 days. So the bill is for two months, the current and the future month.

Re: Billed twice

Why am I being billed for the current and future when this has never been the case before ?

@Donnabee81  Everyone is billed monthly in advance, never monthly in arrears.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: Billed twice

Ok that's fine.   So why I am I being billed twice the amount ?  For the same period ?  This was my original question.    Trying to get hold of Sky on the phone is impossible too

@Donnabee81 it may be that Sky's billing process has caught up with the fact that you weren't being billed in advance, and have adjusted your billing accordingly. It has been reported occasionally before, here on the forum. You could raise a complaint, if you wish, but I suspect Sky will simply refer you to your terms and conditions.

You say that you been twice for the same month but  if  you click on the little "I" against the amounts on that bill they will show the period  covered are they both  the same date period? And if you scroll, down that bill to the bottom where the total is, it dose not show any credit ?
