Billed £20

Hi,

I was out of contract so I signed up again. However, on my bill I have been charged £10 admin for TV and another £10 admin for tge broadband! This has never happened before  so wondering if this is a mistake or something new. I have been with SKY for over ten years.
Thanks

This is quite normal Tuesdays when a new minimum term arranged and added to your account. You are lucky that you have ably been charged £10 each when I had new minimum term add to my tv package they charged me £20 offer fee. Unfortunately the assistant we speak to are quite sneaky abound these charges and dont tend to tell you and some times lie if asked, you only find our when you look at you bill. With me I could got back and  argued the points I was not told, however the with amounts that were add it worked out that for one month was only paying what I would paid without  and I was well happy with extra discounts that had been applied with the new discount, so I decided it was not worth hassle of losing what got by arguing over the fee.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@Jasmine33

Admin fees are quite common. If you called to arrange this and the fee wasn't mentioned then call Sky again. They can listen back on your call to confirm what was said and agreed.

Thank you DaveDrizen. I was not told over the phone about this so was surprised to see it on my bill.
