@Zoehunt Sky won't do anything on a "promise to pay". They have an automated system which will restrict services where bills are overdue and the services won't be reinstated until the payment has been made and a new payment method has been setup on the account ( when you services get restricted the current payment method is usually removed from the account).
If you are overdue by more than 2 weeks, Sky may require the next bill to also be paid prior to re-instating services.
