 I can't pay my bill till Friday as don't get paid till then

You're telling other customers here and not Sky.

 

If an automated payment failed then do not make a manual one as it's reattempted 10 days later.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Just to point out that this only applies to a direct debit as it does not apply to an automated payment on a card.
