Bill due today

Hi, my bill is due today I've gone onto my account and it says payment due £0 so I'm confused. Can someone help me please

Hi @Bex53 do you mean Sky account or bank Account ? Sometimes, Sky update their side a little before the payment leaves your account (odd, I know,  but mine does) I'd check your bank account

Nothing has left my account, I don't have direct debit but I check every month on the 28th and it always has the amount there but today it hasn't.

@Bex53  If you have a continuous payment method setup such as a direct debit or continuous card card payment it would have been taken automatically so no need to make a manual payment 

 

check your bank account or credit card statement for any outgoing payments to sky today 

 

you should never have to make a manual payment if you have a continuous payment setup unless sky requests you to

@Bex53  Do you normally pay on the due date every month?

 

sky normally request payments automatically a few days before they are due using whatever payment method they have on file, and update the sky account as bill paid once the request has been submitted, so sounds like they have submitted the request before you have had chance to make the payment this time 

 

personally I wouldn't worry until you start getting messages from Sky about over due payment and keep your eyes on your bank account /credit card statements over the next few days
