Being chased for equipment return whilst in contract.

Being chased to return broadband equipment when all I did was upgrade my subscription and renewed for 2 years.  Surely this is an error

 

Yet the advice online and AI support all mention charges and credit report damage if I don't return it. 

I assume as I'm in contract I can ignore and bin the return box, anyone have any similar experiences and will sky eventually realise their error.

 

Further info. i don't need a new hub, the existing one is fine and immediately increased service once id clicked on the upgrade buttons. Even if it did, surely they would have sent a new box out first

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

Hello please can you help us.  We being charged for a sky box that we sent back ages ago to you.  We opted to have the sky glass instead of the box. But we sent the box back then and we changed our minds about the TV too in the cooling off pirod. Which all got collected and sent back. . I just don't want to pay for something that we no longer have and sent back to you last year.

When you sent the Sky box back did you get and still have the proof of posting ?
