I was asked to return my Sky equipment (router) by the 31st October 2025. Which i have done, and I have post office receipt stating ive posted it. The receipt has a postcode and a barcode on it i also downloaded the QR code so I could get the post office to scan abd provide me with a label.

@SJI with the many thousands of packages returned each week kit goes astray. Call Sky and if you have the postal receipt it should be a simple matter to get the charge cancelled

Re: Being charged for a router ive returned
How did you get on? I'm in the same position; recieved a text today telling me I will be charged for non return, even though it was delivered back to them several weeks ago

Re: Being charged for a router ive returned
Have you kept your proof of posting / tracking information / email from Sky confirming the package is with the courier?
Sky use Unipart to deal with returns and they are taking a number of weeks to process equipment at their warehouse.
We would usually be able to escalate this to Sky via the Messaging Team on here but I'm afraid the option is not available and we don't know when it'll return.
You need to contact Sky by calling in, using Sky Assistant or via social media to try to get this sorted out which should be straightforward if you have the proof of posting.
Please don't try to post an image of the Royal Mail tracking or postal receipt as Sky don't allow them on the forum.
edit: your unnecessary duplicate thread has been removed.

Re: Being charged for a router ive returned
Sorry not responded sooner. Initially they charged me £58 I believe (i may be a couple of pounds out either way). However,, they then reimbursed me the money as it seems the returned router finally turned up and was connected to my account.
So I have to say, despite my initial worry. It did not take long to be put right. So all in all, I have to say I ended up with a positive experience.

Re: Being charged for a router ive returned
I've returned my equipment. On Oct 6 I received confirmation that two packages were received. My account was successfully closed in November and I was refunded for overpayment. Today I've been advised of a £67 charge for not returning equipment

Hopefully you've still got that confirmation or other proof of posting.

Re: Being charged for a router ive returned
I contacted Sky (weeks ago) regarding this, provided proof of return details and was informed that it was sorted. However, I have received another email today demanding I pay £67 for non return of their equipment. The service I'm receiving from sky is appalling and is causing unnecessary stress; I've been back and forth with them over the last 4 months! Do you know how I can get this resolved asap? The live chat and customer service agents have been useless.
