My final bill did not update properly so I paid too much
What do you mean by that?
Billing continues through a notice period and as bills are generated 14 days prior to a payment date it's quite normal that another bill payment will be required. Of course any overpayment will be reimbursed to you. This can take up to 6 weeks from your last day of connection.
Youll need to contact Sky to get it sooner (once it's showing as a credit on your Sky account).

Re: Credit refund
They didn't put my notice period onto system so has to contact them to complain my last day is 27th December notice was given end November. She told me wait 24 hours which I did and it seemed the bill was stating my last day so I paid balance however I've gone back in today and now it is showing all correct information with 63 pound credit. I should only have been paying for 3 days.

But you are still billed for the full month, then any overpayment is reimbursed.

Re: Credit refund
Refunds should normally take about six weeks from the last day of connection but posts on here suggest it's taking longer.
We used to escalate this to Sky on here via their Community Messaging Team but unfortunateky that process has been unavallable since the summer and we don't know when it'll return.
If you don't want to wait you will need to contact Sky and speak to an agent by other means; either by calling, or initially through Sky Assistant or via social media, Providing your payment method is still active they should then be able to refund it in 3-5 WORKING days.
