I received a letter from BW Legal last year, stating they are acting on behalf of Sky in relation to an outstanding balance, and I am not sure why this was sent to me? My husband contacted Sky on 05/10/2024 to raise my concern about this letter. My husband was speaking with Pabitra from Sky on 05/10/2024 and he stated that he would refer my concern to the investigations team, he could not see any outstanding balance linked to my existing account. I have not had any response from this.
For data protection reasons, Pabitra could not tell my husband anything other than the address linked to Agreement Number on the letter does not match any of my previous addresses. This concerns me greatly as I am worried that I could therefore be a victim of identify theft.
Can you please investigate fully and provide a response to me as to your findings.
