Auto compensation - where can it go?

We've been without Sky Broadband for over a week now thanks to damage to a subsea cable to Shetland, and it seems like we're going to be without it for several more weeks. I'm at the end of my contract, so I am going to arrange for a new broadband supplier. In the meantime, we're due autocompensation of almost £10 per day. Assuming I have ended my broadband contract by the time this is due to be paid (30 days after it's fixed), will this be applied to my Sky Streaming bill? And if I've also ended that (I'm tempted just to switch the whole lot to BT), can it be paid into my bank account?

Hi @David2910   Information here https://www.sky.com/help/articles/auto-compensation

1. The clock starts once you personally report it to Sky.

2. The credit will go to your broadband account (not your streaming account). If you have left you will have to contact Sky to get a refund.
