Sky will not give me a straight answer they try fobbing me off with long drawn out off topic answer

If you’re a new customer your first couple of bills are usually higher, basically due to the dates they cover (more than the usual number of days). In effect you’ll be charged from the date of the activation up until the end of that billed month, and for the next month in advance. Check your future bills to see if they reflect the amount you were expecting. Also see these links

Very quick answer you sure your not a sky employee was written like an employee
And I'm a man where the agreed price is the agreed price no more no less just what's agreed
As sky have taken more than that to me that's a scam and a breach of contract and each day I will complain till sky actually answer a very simple question what is the 23 pound payment for so far I've asked on the phone and by email and I'm still waiting for the answer

I'm a customer like you which is shown in my signature at the bottom of my posts and in the bold text underneath the date and time.
By the way, Sky don't use email for general communication.

Find out moreIf that bills covers more than the usual 4 weeks then that will be why it is higher as the first bill covers the period from the date your services were activated plus the next 4 weeks so that can be 5 or 6 weeks hence it be higher that would you would expect.

Next month its 16 pound month after 19.50
Just sky making it up as they go along instead of actually doing as the contract
So I will fight them every day till the matter is resolved

Ok, sounds like the 3.50 increase is delayed due to 60 day new customer price protection.
From what you've said so far it seems all is correct. The larger initial payment should be fully itemised and will cover a longer period. Particularly the monthly in advance charging as explained in the contract terms.
