Sky Broadband - UP  (can cancel and leave penalty free, however)

Sky Sports - UP

Hi @82bit Well spotted.  I see my April bill has increased by roughly 3.5% but I suppose it's only to be expected.  Over the years I have decreased my subscription bit by bit when it all gets too expensive but I will just have to accept this one.

Re: 2026 Price Hikes

My Stream is up £6 and broadband £3.

On the broadband I only started my special price six weeks ago. Due to the way they calculate bills when your package changes I haven't paid the contracted price once. 🙂

So TNT Sports is up from £31 to £34. I can't imagine too many customers wanting to pay that to have it all year round.

Re: 2026 Price Hikes

@MarkGoldsmith I pay £30.99 direct from Discovery+ and cancel it for June and July when there's no football. It might increase in April, but I can see no advantage at all in getting in through Sky.

@82bit  Thread moved to Account & Billing  Board as the price rise affects all platforms and is not Glass/Stream Exclusive.

TNT Sport is £20pm with my EE SIM-only deal. I get free Netflix Premium free with it too.

£19 with my EE broadband and I think that is overpriced for what you get!

I suspect it will increase in price on Discovery+/HBO Max to a similar price at some point in 2026 anyway.

Yeah for me the value you get in TNT Sports isn't worth anywhere near the fee they charge. This month was the first month I've subscribed to TNT Sports since May last year anyway and I've only got as the Champions League is now entering the more interesting phase.

I'm sure it will. But you can install their app and log in on as many devices as you want including other people's houses. You can only stream on two at the same time but I still think it's the better option.

Re: 2026 Price Hikes

In all honesty Sports subscriptions are obscene across the board.  The bubble will burst at some point.

Well you can do the same when subscribing through TNT Sports via Sky, as you get the access also via Discovery +, so there isn't really a difference between how you subscribe beit through TNT Sports via Sky or directly on Discovery+
