Schedule may change though.
For following week, it might be a post season break.

NBC's PFT Live is on the Sky tv timetable still for 6.00pm, but it's not on. No explanation. No notification. Nothing from Sky to explain.
anybody know what's going on?

It's on every day as usual on NBC until
July. It's a programme that Sky mess with every year. There's no mechanism to find out why Sky aren't showing it.

You could email the Viewer Relations Team at viewerR@sky.uk and ask.

Have tried that but it's a bit like poking a dead dog with a stick. Will take them days to respond, if they ever do.

You could be right of course. They might well be taking a short notice break again next week but it doesn't explain why, yet again, Sky cancel this weeks editions with no thought or consideration to loyal PFT viewers.

This happened again on 24/03/2023. I e-mailed Sky to complain and got this response:
"Thank you for your email to Sky Sports regarding NBC's Pro-Football Talk.
Unfortunately there was an editorial issue that has prevented this programme from airing today at 17:00 as scheduled. Resulting in a replacement programme of Boxing having to go to air last minute."
So, in short, "something went wrong". All I can infer from this is that this is a low priority (i.e. low audience) programme and, if resources are tight and it cannot be edited in time, it just gets dropped.
