This is a shame imo. The Lazarus Project was one of the better Sky Original productions.

That's a real shame. The Lazarus Project was easily the best original drama series Sky have produced in years. The writing, direction, and acting were all streets ahead of 99% of the other drivel they produce.

That is a shame and looking from the outside doesn't make much sense but I guess they have their reasons but with the lead actor getting a BAFTA nomination for his role in the show and with a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes you would think the show must have been pulling in the viewers.

I can only think the numbers for season 2 perhaps weren't as good as season 1

Yes, most likely. Season 2 wasn't quite as engaging as the first, but was still the best Sky Original for many years.
